The biggest myths are that a non-surgical service can cure genetic hair loss, that results last the same for everyone, that more sessions always mean better results, that it only suits men, and that a good-looking photo proves it works. None of these is true.
Myth 1: it cures hair loss
Cosmetic services change how hair looks and how the scalp is cared for. They do not cure pattern hair loss, which is influenced by genes and hormones.
Myth 2: results last the same for everyone
How long a look lasts depends on your hair, scalp, sweat, sun, washing and aftercare. Anyone quoting a fixed number for everyone is oversimplifying.
Myth 3: more sessions are always better
The right number depends on what we see at your scalp check. We would rather suggest fewer visits that make sense.
Myth 4: it is only for men
Women with a widening part or diffuse thinning are often suitable too, after a check.
Myth 5: one great photo proves it
Lighting, angle and wet or dry hair can change a photo dramatically. Look for matched photos taken in the same conditions.
Questions
Is non-surgical the same as natural regrowth?
No. Non-surgical means no surgery; it does not mean new hair is growing.
How do I tell an honest provider?
They explain limits clearly, give a full price after measuring and do not pressure you.
