You can usually combine in-centre care with home products, but timing matters. Pause home topicals around your session as your therapist advises, restart one at a time, and do not layer several leave-on products on the same area at once. If your scalp gets irritated, stop and ask us.
Tell us everything you use
At your scalp check, list every shampoo, tonic, foam, serum and supplement you use, plus any prescription. Photos of the labels are easiest.
This lets us plan when to pause and when to restart, and spot products that may clash.
Restart one at a time
After your session, bring back home products one at a time, a few days apart. If your scalp reacts, you will know which product caused it.
Apply leave-on products to a dry scalp, let each absorb fully, and use them at different times of day rather than stacking them.
Keep it simple
More products do not mean better results. A short routine you keep every day is more useful than a long one you give up after two weeks.
