Caviar extract in hair care: ingredient profile
Answer first

Caviar extract comes from fish roe and contains proteins, lipids and other nutrients. A few lab and small studies have looked at caviar extracts and hair or skin, but these are ingredient studies, not proof for any product. Because it comes from fish, people with fish or seafood allergies should tell us first.

What studies looked at

Research teams have tested caviar extracts on hair-follicle cells and in small trials. Findings are early and need more work.

Allergy note

Fish allergy is well documented, and fish proteins can cross-react. If you have a seafood or fish allergy, tell us before any Folli-Fuel session, because it contains caviar extract.

Questions

Is caviar extract the same as eating caviar?

No, it is a processed cosmetic ingredient.

I'm allergic to prawns, not fish.

Tell us anyway so we can advise.

Studies mentioned

These studies looked at ingredients or general approaches. None of them tested our treatments or products, so they are background, not proof.
